Lottie O. Bernard, 87, of Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2015. Lottie was born on January 08, 1928 in Baxley, GA. Lottie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 43 years: Osmond N. Bernard; two step- children: Charlton and Gillian Bernard; Grandchildren: Rosie Phillips of Youngtown, OH, Ervin Grant Jr (Lakeisha) of Bluffton, SC, James L Grant, Houston TX, Brenda Grant, Leesburg,FL, Pastor Penny Priester (Elder Barry), Leesburg, FL and Imetrice Grant(deceased), Leesburg FL. Step-grandchildren: Alexis McCants, Chantal Bernard, Akinyele Zahira, Anyawu Zahira, Lewarwert Zahira, Najma Zahira, and Ajani Zahira, all of Leesburg, FL. 13 Great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held on Friday January 01, 2016 from 3 – 6 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, of Leesburg, FL, located at 1735 Veech Rd, Leesburg, FL 34748. A Celebration of life service will be held the following day at 12 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, of Leesburg with Pastor James Allen officiating. A committal service will take place at the graveside directly following the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens located at 1901 County Road 25A, Leesburg, FL 34748. Repast immediately following the service at the GFWC Woman’s Club at 700 South 9th Street Leesburg, FL 34748.
