Alfred “Fred” Antonio Cavallaro III passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2014. Born in Dearborn, Michigan, raised and lived in the Phoenix-Fulton, NY area for most of his life, and retired to Central, FL where he resided at Water Oak and Spruce Creek for the past 12 years. He also had a summer camp in Cape Vincent, 1000 Islands, NY.
He was an avid softball player and golfer and enjoyed participating in trivia contests and showing his classic cars. Surviving Fred is his wife of 47 years, Pearl (Waldron), daughter Andrea and her husband Bob Riley of Syracuse, NY, son Corey and his wife Linda Cavallaro of Stone Ridge, NY and granddaughters, Amanda Coryn and April Grace of Syracuse, Fred’s brother, Ken Reynolds, and his wife Donna, reside in Tucson, AZ.
Fred attended Fulton School System and graduated from Phoenix Central Schools in NY. He was employed by Niagara Mohawk. He was a proud member of both VFW Post 5540 Phoenix, NY and the American Legion 347, Lady Lake, FL
