Eileen P. Lowery, 78, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2015 at her residence, peacefully in her sleep after a joyful day of laughter with friends and family. Mrs. Lowery was born on November 7, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents; Gustave Albert Post and Sarah Ellen (Lunger) Post. Mrs. Lowery was a Registered Nurse having worked for 37 years at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center and Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee University with her degree in Nursing. Mrs. Lowery and her husband Cecil have resided in Leesburg from 1974-1984 and recently moved from Nashville, TN back to Leesburg two years ago. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church of Leesburg and Hermitage Baptist Church of Nashville where she performed with the Choir, and Chancel Ringers. Mrs. Lowery was an actress with 50 Forward, The Mellon Patch and several other theatres and volunteered with multiple organizations. She also liked to crochet and loved to dance. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her loving husband: Cecil T. Lowery of Leesburg, FL; three daughters: Julia Ann McCoy Pavlicek (Bill) of Chicago, IL, Sarah (Sally) Ellen McCoy Gordon of Nashville, TN and Laura Eileen McCoy-Bickel (Brian) of Hartland, MI; eleven grandchildren: Stephanie Urick, Amanda Gaddes, Rebecca Olson, Nicholas Gordon, Travis Gordon, Kimberlee Bradford, Jennifer Waitkus, Jamie Gordon, Austin Bickel, Eric Bickel and Scott Bickel; twenty six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in Nashville, TN with a memorial service in Leesburg, FL.
