Lieutenant governor to attend June 11 BBQ  at Laurel Manor

The Republican clubs of Sumter County will hold an “Old Time BBQ” from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 11 at Laurel Manor Recreation Center for Republicans and like-minded conservatives.

The event will feature Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater. Don Hahnfeldt, chairman of the Sumter County Board of Commissioners and a candidate for the Florida Statehouse, and a representative of Congressman Rich Nugent’s office will also be there. The theme of the event is “Moving Forward to 2016.” The event will be catered by Sonny’s BBQ.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be obtained from Sumter County Republican Club Presidents or John Black at 352-751-5710 or e-mail JNB176@aol.com. Tickets are limited.
