Man on probation arrested for driving on a suspended license

A 48-year-old man on felony probation was arrested Tuesday morning on a charge of driving while license suspended.

Robert Leroy Connor of Ocklawaha had been driving a pickup shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday on State Road 35 in Oxford, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. During a traffic stop, a deputy determined Connor’s license was suspended and that he was on felony probation for trafficking in stolen property.

Connor was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
