Shuttered for more than a year, restaurant to reopen in Spanish Springs

After being shuttered for more than a year, a Villages couple intends to reopen a restaurant in Spanish Springs Town Square.

Dennis and Edie Demshar of the Village of Harmeswood at Belle Aire had run the HoneyBaked Hams restaurant in Lady Lake. They sold it to focus on their new Spanish Springs Towns Square restaurant located at 1101 Main St.

They intend to open the doors of the new restaurant in January.

The restaurant had previously been know as Luigino’s. It closed in October 2015. It had previously been the home to a New Orleans-themed eatery.
