Thelma Louise Herndon, 81, of Summerfield, FL, passed from this life March 9, 2016 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Born in Dade County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothea (Manning) Stonehill. Thelma was a retired 37 year fiscal specialist for Southern Bell Telephone of Hollywood, FL.
She came to Summerfield, FL in 1990. Thelma enjoyed bowling and traveling. She was a member of the First Baptist Church At The Villages.
Besides her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Jacque A. Herndon who passed in 2007. She leaves a brother, Paul Stonehill and wife Mary of Melbourne, FL; 3 nephews and 2 nieces.

Funeral Services will be held at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church At The Villages.
