Villages Parrot Head Club blood drive set Thursday at Station 44

The Villages Parrot Head Club will hold a blood drive on Thursday, Jan. 5 at Villages Public Safety Department Station 44.

The drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fire station at Pinellas Place and Morse Boulevard.

Those who donate will receive:
• A free Rialto movie ticket
• A 15 percent off coupon to Cody’s at Lake Sumter Landing
• Hotdogs and refreshments
• A wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening
In addition, all Double Red Cell donors will receive an additional Rialto movie ticket.

In 2016, the Parrot Head Blood Drives collected 700 units (87.5 gallons), which benefitted 2,100 recipients.
