St. Alban’s Anglican Church will hold first service Sunday in new church

Villagers who worship at St. Alban’s Anglican Church will be celebrating services Sunday morning in their new worship building.

Congregants will be moving from worshiping at Lady Lake Public Library to their newly constructed building at 625 W. Lady Lake Boulevard. The church is located behind American Legion Post 347 in Lady Lake.

The inaugural service in the new building will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Deacon Greg Koon will be the celebrant.

The service is open to anyone interested in attending.

The America-based Anglican Province of Christ the King follows the teachings of Jesus Christ and celebrates historic Christianity in the Anglican tradition. The church’s beliefs are based on the Bible and the time-honored creeds of the Church.

The church’s priest-in-charge is the Rt. Rev. Dr. John E. Upham, Jr., suffragan bishop for the Atlantic Diocese, celebrates Communion one Sunday a month.
