Wildwood woman held without bond after allegedly punching son

A 34-year-old Wildwood woman was being held without bond after she allegedly punched her son Monday morning.

The boy and his mother got into a disagreement after the mother, Sherri Marie Jackson, asked the boy to walk his 5-year-old sister to school, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on a charge of battery.
