Lady Lake police nab habitual traffic offender on seatbelt violation

A 32-year-old Lady Lake man is free on $2,000 bond following his arrest Monday on a charge of driving while license suspended.

Patrick Vernon Dixon of 213 Ann St. has been identified as a habitual traffic offender. He has been barred from driving for 60 months.

He was pulled over at 9:20 a.m. Monday for not wearing a seatbelt, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

He was arrested last year on drug charges.
