William C. LeBeau

William C. LeBeau, Jr, 92, passed away September 15, 2015 at Shands Hospital. Bill is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joanna, Six Children: William C. LeBeau III (Janet) NY, CW3 Richard H. LeBeau (Carrie) OR, John P. LeBeau (Robin) FL, Keith A. LeBeau, FL, Janie P. LeBeau (John), FL, Mark C. LeBeau (Christi) GA. He also leaves behind 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Bill also has 4 Step Children and 2 Step Grandchildren. Sgt. LeBeau is a WWII Veteran where he earned several medals including the Silver Star, Bronze Star, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal. Bill served in 5 campaigns in the European Theater with the 45th Infantry Thunderbirds; one of which (Sicily) he served under General Patton. Bill a carpenter by trade, worked for Lane Construction building roads and bridges as part of the NY State Thruway System; after of which he worked at Whitney M. Young Community Health Center in Albany, NY as Manager of Plant Facilities. Bill then went to Albany Medical College as Technical Engineer; where he later retired. Bill is predeceased by his Mother Harriet VanDeCar Rayher LeBeau, Father William C. LeBeau, Sr; and Brothers: Charles Rayher, Francis (Frank) LeBeau, Sisters: Mary MacAllister, Jean Wager and Granddaughter Tracy LeBeau.
A Memorial service will be held at the Bushnell National Cemetery on Friday September 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations in Remembrance of William C.
