Suspected shoplifter apprehended after fleeing Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge

A 43-year-old Ocala man was arrested after he allegedly tried to steal a razor and cologne from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge and then fled on foot.

Kevin Michael Glazewski was arrested on a charge of shoplifting, according to a report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

He allegedly tried to take a Schick razor and Eternity cologne at about 6 p.m. Friday. He then fled across the Wal-Mart parking lot toward Murphy Express gas station.

Glazewski was booked on $500 bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
