Three-year-old child among three people killed in accident in Lake County

Three people were killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in Lake County.

James Walker, 22, of Sanford had been driving a 2011 Jaguar at 3:40 p.m. Sunday on County Road 455 when he lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a SUV driven by Debra Irwin, 56, of Montverde, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Walker and Irwin were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Medical Examiner.

A three-year-old passenger in Irwin’s SUV, three-year-old Fallon Painter of Clermont, was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando where she was later pronounced dead.
