2,300 gallons of wastewater spills near Spanish Plaines Plaza in The Villages

About 2,300 gallons of wastewater ran from a manhole into a nearby retention pond after line blockage near Spanish Plaines Plaza in The Villages.

CH2M Hill was handling the cleanup on Monday. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection was monitoring the situation.
