Resident thanks CDD 2 for putting down centerline striping on multi-modal path

A Villager publicly thanked Community Development District 2 Board of Supervisors on Friday for their decision to put down center line striping on their section of multi-modal path.

“Thank you very much for doing that. I hope that other districts will follow your lead,” said Bob Bassett, a resident of CDD 4.

Much of the golf cart path in CDD 2 runs along El Camino Real.

Last year, the CDD 2 board voted 3-2 to put down centerline striping, a controversial topic in The Villages.

The CDD 2 board followed the lead of the CDD 4 board which previously put down centerline striping.
