Woman arrested after allegedly attempting to steal Disney bracelet from Bealls

A woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly attempting to steal a Disney bracelet from Bealls.

Donna Marie Smith, 27, of Wildwood, was taken into custody by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies after she attempted to shoplift the bracelet valued at $64.20, according to an arrest report. The incident was captured on video surveillance at the store on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $1,000.

Last year, Smith had been arrested with marijuana after a traffic stop on U.S. 301 in Wildwood.
