Oaks nine at Hacienda Hills Country Club will remain closed until further notice

Some golf courses that were closed in The Villages due to heavy rain and soggy conditions are getting ready to reopen.

Orange Blossom Hills and Hill Top will open for business Thursday, May 31, while Hacienda Hills (18 holes Palms & Lakes) and Silver Lake will open Friday, June 1, followed by El Santiago on Saturday, June 2. The Oaks nine at Hacienda Hills will remain closed until further notice.

During the recent closures, the greens at Orange Blossom Hills and Hacienda Hills were aerified.

Villages golf officials also are reminding residents that opening dates could change with water basin levels. And courses that are open may have some golf cart restrictions.
