Woman pumping air into car’s tire arrested at service station in Lady Lake

Jenny Eliza Rosario

A woman pumping air into her car’s tire was arrested Monday night at a service station in Lady Lake.

Jenny Eliza Rosario, 45, of Leesburg, had been putting air into the tire shortly before 9 p.m. at the Chevron station on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when a Lady Lake police officer ran the license plate of her green Kia SUV and discovered the registered owner had a suspended license. He initiated a traffic stop when Rosario attempted to drive out of the gas station. She admitted her driver’s license was suspended.

A check revealed Rosario has been convicted four times for driving while license suspended.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $2,000.
