Camaro driver ticketed after crash at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466

The driver of a Camaro was ticketed after a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466.

Luis Daniel Vargas Rodriguez, 26, of Ocoee, had been at the wheel of a 2016 Chevy Camaro SS at 3:16 p.m. traveling southbound on Rolling Acres Road when he arrived at the intersection and could not properly make the turn, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A Village Mover vehicle was involved in a crash at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466.

His car ran over the median and into eastbound traffic on County Road 466.

The Camaro struck a 2017 Ford Edge driven by 72-year-old Donald Eugene Martin of The Villages. The Camaro then struck a Village Mover truck driven by 23-year-old Dean Warren Myklejord of Leesburg.

Rodriguez was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
