More than $20,000 in cash missing from office of local lawn care company

FertiGator has an office at 306 Oak St. in Lady Lake.

More than $20,000 has been reported missing from the office of a local lawn care company.

A representative of FertiGator on Feb. 14 reported that $20,146.82 went missing between June 1 and Aug. 31 from the bank account. The local company office is at 306 Oak St. in Lady Lake, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

A detective has been assigned to investigate the theft.
