Villages couple fearful of theft of golf cart wins permission for alteration to their home

A Villages couple fearful of the theft of their golf cart has won permission for an alteration to their home.

Pamela and Christopher Kondor reside at 602 Tarrson Blvd., just inside the Jeffrey Gate on the Historic Side of The Villages.

A Villages couple has won permission to enclose their carport for safety reasons.

She appeared Wednesday before the Architectural Review Committee seeking permission to enclose her carport to create a safe space to store her golf cart.

“We need this to ensure the safety of our golf cart against theft,” Pamela Kondor told the members of the ARC.

The enclosure will include a golf cart garage door. She also indicated the materials used for the enclosure will match the exterior of her manufactured home.

The ARC voted to approve the request.
