One person transported to Ocala hospital after golf cart crash in The Villages

One person was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center after a golf cart crash Monday afternoon in The Villages.

The Florida Highway Patrol has been called in to investigate the crash which occurred at the intersection of Erique Drive and Fortaleza Drive in the Village of Santiago.

One person was transported by ambulance from the scene of a golf cart crash Monday afternoon in the Village of Santiago.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and The Villages Public Safety Department also responded to the scene of the crash.
