Is the Developer suddenly broke?

To the Editor:

Is the Developer suddenly broke? Why is the Developer suddenly looking for (questionably legal) ways to transfer its long-time Villages financial responsibilities to the Districts? Why are their lawyers focusing on “ways to cut costs?” Showing symptoms of a “sinking ship” is NOT a good way to inspire prospective new homebuyer confidence!
