Lady Lake woman jailed after allegedly attempting to steal more than $300 in merchandise from Wal-Mart

A 36-year-old Lady Lake woman was arrested after she allegedly attempted to steal more than $300 in merchandise Saturday at the Wal-Mart in Leesburg.

Cassandra M. Goodrich was taken into custody at 6:44 p.m. on a charge of grand theft after she attempted to take a “LEGO Jurassic World The Indominus Escape” DVD, the “Underworld” DVD collection, eyelash booster, eye shadow, BedHead massive hold hairspray, CHI Keratin mist, hair clips and hairbrushes, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The items had a total value of $364.14.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,000 bond.
