Indiana truck driver wins $1 million in Florida Lottery game

The Florida Lottery has announced that Rickey Hartbarger, 49, of Akron, Ind., claimed a $1 million prize in the $5 Million Flamingo Multiplier Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Hartbarger, a truck driver, chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $719,726.80. He purchased his winning ticket from Pilot Travel Center in Ellenton.
