FHP releases report detailing crash at County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard from which teen was airlifted 

The Florida Highway Patrol has released an accident report detailing a crash at County Road 466 and Morse Boulevard from which a teenager was airlifted.

Troy Allan Foster, 14, of Fruitland Park, had been a passenger in a 2008 Ford Escape driven by 32-year-old Kimberly Danielle Frost of Fruitland Park which had been eastbound on County Road 466 at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Their vehicle collided in the intersection with a 2006 Volvo driven by Viet Dinh Nguyen, 21, of Wildwood, which had been westbound on County Road 466 and ran a red light when making a left turn onto Morse Boulevard.

Foster was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Frost was transported by ambulance to Ocala Regional Medical Center.

Nguyen and passengers, 18-year-old Courtney Clara Tolson and infant Luna M. Nguyen, escaped uninjured.

Nguyen was ticketed on a charge of failure to stop at a steady red light.
