Sheila R. Shayne

Sheila R. Shayne, 83, Oxford, Florida, passed away on December 1, 2017 at The Villages Hospice House in The Villages, Florida. Mrs. Shayne was born on July 31, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to her parents Lewis Marks and Ruth (Brindes) Marks.

She was a former Real Estate Broker and had been the Owner of Kensh Corporation with her late husband Kenneth Shayne. She and her late husband Kenneth moved to Oxford 15 years ago from Treasure Island, Florida and in 1973 moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Treasure Island. She was a founding member of Temple Shalom of Central Florida in Oxford, and started a local chapter of Hadassah.

She is survived by her loving family, sons: Joel Shayne and wife Ruth of Farmington Hills, MI and Glenn Shayne of Oxford, FL; a daughter: Terri Misek of Longwood, FL; a brother: Richard Marks of Palm Desert, CA; a sister: Barbara Kolb of Grafton, WI; four grandchildren: Benjamin Shayne and wife Ashley, Dorina Burns and husband Nolan, Joshua Krafchick, Sari Misek; two great-grandchildren: Gabriel Shayne and Elliana Shayne.

Funeral Services were held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 11 a.m. – noon at Temple Shalom of Central Florida, Oxford, Florida. The burial was held at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida.
