It’s that time of year when everybody is getting together for the holidays.

The Samba Sisters have been meeting once a week to enjoy the camaraderie while playing a fun card game. The  group started with four players a year and a half ago and has grown to the current roster of 45 gals.

The Samba Sisters

The gals enjoyed Christmas lunch on Thursday at The Florida Porch Cafe in downtown Leesburg. The owner, Sarah Rinne, opened her doors for 36 Samba Sisters to play their normal four rounds of Samba and enjoy a delightful lunch afterward.
