Golf cart stolen from Fiesta Bowl

A golf cart was reportedly stolen Monday night from Fiesta Bowl in The Villages.

A 28-year-old who has been staying at her father’s home in Villa De La Mesa said she and a male companion at about 9:30 p.m. had driven through the parking lot of Target at Rolling Acres Plaza where four to five young adults had been looking and pointing at the golf cart, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

The pair went to Fiesta Bowl and parked the golf cart. When they emerged from the bowling alley at 11:40 p.m., the golf cart was gone.

The golf cart is black with a white top, but the woman did not know the make or model. Her father was in Tennessee at the time.
