Man reportedly shot and women hit by car after domestic dispute in Ocala

One man was reportedly shot and two women were hit by a car Tuesday night in Ocala.

The incident is believed to have started as a domestic dispute at about 7 p.m. on Southwest 12th Avenue.

According to multiple reports, shots were fired and a car left the scene after the two women were hit. The driver reportedly collided with an unoccupied vehicle before stopping on SW 7th Place, where he got out of the car and collapsed.

Ocala Police Lt. Michael K. Sommer Jr. was quoted as saying that the victim had at least one gunshot wound to his leg, with two others possibly in his torso and arm.

All three victims reportedly were transported to local hospitals.
