Erma Lee Wilson

Erma Lee Wilson, 94, of The Villages, FL, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Mrs. Wilson was born April 1, 1924 in Amherstdale, WV, to Dewey A. and Doska J. (Browning) Bailey.

She retired from the Logan County Board of Education after a 31 year career as a teacher. Erma Lee moved here in 2010 from Arcadia, FL and Man, WV. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Arcadia, FL.

Survivors include her children, Sue Wilson Taylor of The Villages, FL, Pamela L. & Mark Dryden of Manassas, VA, and James D. & Sharon M. Wilson of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren; Stephen W Bennett of Lake Wales, FL, Chad A. (Kristi) Bennett of Hendersonville, TN, Amy L. Wilson of El Cajon, CA, Mark W. (Krystal) Wilson of Hurricane, WV and Sarah J Wilson of Sebastian, FL; eight great-grandchildren with another on the way. Erma Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Delbert C. Wilson, and her brother Bernard Baily.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Erma’s honor may be directed to the First Baptist Church of McConnell Building Fund, PO Box 816 Stollings, WV 25646.
