Intoxicated homeless man arrested at Circle K on Historic Side of The Villages

Jonathan Henderson

An intoxicated homeless man was arrested Sunday night at Circle K on the Historic Side of The Villages.

A witness flagged down a Lady Lake police officer at about 10 p.m. and said a man with a plastic bag had been running in and out of traffic on U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

When an officer found the man, identified later as 31-year-old Jonathan Henderson, at Circle K at 3 La Grande Blvd., he was standing outside the business and yelling, according to the arrest report. Henderson “took an aggressive posture” when he was approached by a police officer.

Henderson was taken into custody on a charge of disorderly intoxication. He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $500 bond.
