Hospital officials will discuss assistance offered to those with hearing loss

Two officials from Central Florida Health, parent company of The Villages Regional Hospital and Leesburg Regional Medical Center, will speak next month to the Hearing Loss Association of America-Central Florida in The Villages.

Central Florida Health’s Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator Kathleen Flynn and Assistant Compliance Officer Judy Beda will speak to the group at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 in the Triple Crown Room at the Churchill Street Recreation Center.

They will share information regarding resources the hospitals can provide for individuals with hearing loss during their stay.

Ashley Wiygul, a local account representative with CaptionCall, also will be sharing information about CaptionCall’s caption phones and how to obtain them for home usage.
