Donald Zyto

Donald R. Zyto, 83, of Fruitland Park, passed away October 4, 2019 in The Villages. Donald was born on July 25, 1963 in South Bend, Indiana to Valentine and Sophie (Niemer) Zyto. Donald moved to Florida in 1961. Donald married his wife Dorothy in 2011.

Donald was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Timothy’s in the Villages and St. Paul’s in Leesburg. Donald was Bank Manager for many years. He was Vice President of the Florida Banker’s Association, belonged to the Lady Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club.

Donald is survived by his wife Dorothy of Fruitland Park, son Donald Zyto Jr. of West Palm Beach, daughter Cheryl Karr of Melbourne, adopted daughter Terry Jenkins of Willington, sister Jan and husband Ralph of Chesterfield, MO, six grandchildren, Jonathan, Freddie, Elizabeth, Richard, Taylor, Casey, 3 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Abigale and Alaina. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Frank.
