Sumter County residents paying for expansion of The Villages

To the Editor:

Why does The Villages have to keep expanding and can’t afford to pay for their own expansion?
They want to increase people’s land taxes in Sumter County when people on a fixed income can’t afford to pay higher land taxes.
Will they help pay for land taxes here if we fall behind in our land taxes? It should not be like that if we don’t live in The Villages.
Why should we have to support them when they want to keep expanding?
Why do all the trees have to come down?
When is enough, enough?
