Ed McGinty’s ‘false’ report

To the Editor:

I was shocked to read Ed McGinity’s false report to the sheriff on Saturday.
First of all, NO POLITICAL INFO was to be posted anywhere but there he was with his foul-mouthed sign posted on the front of his golf cart. We were several carts down the road waiting for traffic to clear and saw the altercation.  He was NOT pulled out of his golf cart like he lied to the police and both men were throwing punches. I can see why he doesn’t want the other guy to file a report because Ed knows he is lying himself.
This was one day you should have left your ugly signs at home and keep your mouth shut. The event was not about you but a tribute to law enforcement and what do you do?  You make a false report trying to cover yourself.
SHAMEFUL!
