Villager in golf cart ticketed after hitting parked car

A Villager in a golf cart was ticketed on a charge of careless driving after a collision with a parked car July 22 on Main Street in Spanish Springs.

Marcia N. Vandersnick, 68, of 804 Ramos Drive, told Lady Lake police that she had reached for her wallet when her golf cart struck a car owned by Villager Michael John Siple.

Vandersnick told police she would have her golf cart towed from the scene by a private company.
