Labor Day trash pickup schedule announced

There will not be residential trash collection in Sumter County and Marion County on Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day. Trash collection will occur on your next regularly scheduled day. If you were scheduled to have recycling pickup on Monday, Sept. 1, you will have a special recycling pickup on Saturday, Aug. 30. For additional information, contact Sumter Sanitation at (352) 748-0109.

In Lady Lake and Lake County, Waste Management will have pickup on Monday, Labor Day for those whose regular pickup day is Monday.
