An event to support the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of The Villages is set for Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Chili’s.

The CERT Give Back Event will take place from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. that day at Chili’s at 1206 Avenida Central.

Chili’s will donate 10 percent of the event day sales to CERT.

The CERT organization trains citizens to provide initial assistance to their families, neighbors, and community during medical emergencies and disasters until professional emergency personnel arrive.
