Shelagh Tobin, 90, of The Villages, FL, beloved wife of 67 years to the late Ernest R. Tobin passed from this life Friday, October 9, 2015. Born in Nottingham, UK, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Claire (Powell) Bayes. Shelagh was as a medical secretary in the Healthcare field for several years. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Shelagh and her husband Ernest moved to The Villages from Lancaster, PA in 2002. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her generous nature, her strength, her love of roses, her love of a cup of hot tea and her favorite color aqua. She will be missed and remembered by all of those who knew and loved her.
Shelagh is survived by her daughters, Janice Pila (Robert), of The Villages, Anne Welsh (Charles) of Largo, FL, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
