Harlan Insurance and Mulberry Integrated Medicine clash next week to determine CFL Championship  

HARLAN INSURANCE 12  SYNERGY WEALTH 8

Harlan built an 8 run lead and held off a Synergy comeback to remain in first place and set up a regular season championship game next week with Mulberry. Five different players had 2 hits in the win, Al DuBuc, Craig Dahlquist(2 RBI’s), Tim Healy, Jack Meagher and sponsor Bruce Harlan. Woody Wood added a home run and 3 RBI’s. Skeeter Aikey and John Reedy (3 RBI’s) had 3 hits each for Synergy while Dick Petulla, Rick Deumler (2 RBI’s), Tom LeDoux and sub Rick Fredieu all chipped in with 2 hits.

MULBERRY INTEGRATED MEDICINE 13  HUMANA HEALTH 2

Pitcher Gary Luck did not give up an earned run in Mulberry’s romp over Humana while Ed Haith (3 RBI’s) and Paul Shaffer each banged out 3 hits. Ed DeMaio and Jim Weigand both had 3 RBI’s. In the loss, Bob Roth, Tom Ramberg and Bill Yeager all had 2 hits for Humana.

IHOP 12  BABIARZ LAW 9

IHOP scored the last 7 runs in this contest to pull out the victory. In the win Mark Goodwin, Larry Williams (2 RBI’s) and Phil Palma (2 RBI’s) each had 3 hits. Babiarz had 3 hits from Ed Moriarty and 2 hits each from Bill Naasz (4 RBI’s) and Vince Pezzullo.

FROSS & FROSS FINANCIAL 18  3AMIGOS 11

Fross got 3 hits from four players in this win, Jim Harrison, John Gouin(2 RBI’s), Sam Patrick and Ed Chirumbolo. Dave Pope added 2 hits and 5 RBI’s. In the loss Bill Pauldine, Al Mahar and manager Wayne Grunewald(2 RBI’s) each had 3 hits. Jack Nagle contributed with 4 RBI’s.

ARDEN JEWELER’S  13 PAUL DAVIS RESTORATIONS 8

Arden had their home run hitting shoes on in this game getting two 2 run shots from David Blandford, a solo shot from sub Vince Patterson and a 3 run bomb from Tom Bolte. Blandford, Bolte and Terry Yanny all had 3 hits in the win. PDR got 3 hits each from Lew Burhans(2 RBI’s), Gary DePalma, Chick Cicitelli and Bob Buchanan(4 RBI’s).

PERKINS 18  SOFTBALL’S-R-GAME 11

Perkins piled up the hits in this win led by John Buchanan’s 4 hits and 2 RBI’s. Jim Walter, Ken Link, Tim Wilcox (2 RBI’s) and Mike Hyott (2RBI’s) all had 3 hits while  Jim Wheeler drove in 3 runs. Manager Gordie Lewis had a 2 run homer. SGR was led by Reno Saculla’s 4 hits and Scott Marshall’s 3 hits including a grand slam home run. Bobby DePace and Bill Nisbet each had 2 hits.

NOTE:

The games of the regular season, which are make up’s from earlier rainout games will be played next Tuesday with the playoffs to follow the next 2 weeks.
