Donald Norman Schaffer, beloved husband of Erika von Beren Schaffer, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 in The Villages Hospice. He was born July 9, 1931 in Pottstown, PA, son of the late Norman and Mary Magdalene Moyer Schaffer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Duncan.
Mr. Schaffer was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He Graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Surviving are his loving wife, Erika von Beren Schaffer, a son, Grier Schaffer (Ann) and their children Alex, Robin and Caroline, a daughter, Valerie Strunk (Jon) and their son Orin.
A memorial service will be held in Pottstown, PA.
