Gladys Marie Crane Mueller, 85, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Born in Munising, MI, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Margaret Anderson.
After 40 years of distinguished service, Gladys retired from General Motors in Milwaukee, WI.
She came to The Villages from Michigan in 2000. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was a woman of deep faith, who lived life to the fullest and touched everyone with her sense of humor. Gladys was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Crane in 2008 and by her second husband, Robert Mueller in February of this year.
She leaves her daughters; Jeanne Morton (Rick); Deborah Long (David); “ non-biological daughter”, Linda Runge; step children; Bob Mueller, Jr.,(Debbie); Debbie Mueller (Marshelle); brothers, Bob Anderson, (Sally); Jim Anderson, (Joan); Harold Anderson, (Nancy); sister-in-law, Donna Anderson and the late Ted Anderson; late sister, Florence Colbus; grandchildren, Amanda and Stephanie and great grandson, Ryder.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 4 p.m. in Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL (moffitt.org)
