The property, which is golf cart accessible from Clearview Avenue, had been considered for purchase a couple of years ago for $1.2 million. The church pulled it from consideration when appraisals came in too low.

The property includes 10 acres that could be the home of future recreational opportunities off SE Hwy. 42 in Community Development District 4 in Marion County.

Residents of CDD 4 have complained for years that their facilities are overcrowded.
