A landscaper reported the theft of chainsaws from a truck parked at Home Depot in Lady Lake.
The landscaper and co-workers arrived at the store at about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 25, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. When they re-emerged about a half hour later, they found that a 16-inch Stihl chainsaw, a 20-inch Stihl chainsaw and a polesaw had been removed from the bed of the truck.
The total value of the chainsaws was reported to be $1,660.
