Golf bag, clubs reported stolen from golf cart

A Villager reported to Lady Lake police that his golf bag was stolen from his golf cart Aug. 4 while it was parked at the Circle K service station at 3 LaGrande Boulevard on the Historic Side of The Villages.

The victim told police that at about 6 a.m. he had gone into the Circle K to have a cup of coffee and read a newspaper.

When he came out, he noticed his golf bag was missing. The clubs, balls, gloves and bag had a value of $1,840.
