Larry the Alligator basks in the warmth of his adoring fans at Brownwood

He’s probably the most famous alligator in The Villages.

Fans of Larry the Alligator were snapping photos and pointing him out to their grandchildren this past weekend at his personal pond in Brownwood.

Larry was spotted both Saturday and Sunday sunbathing at one of his favorite spots at the pond, which is located just south of County Road 44-A. It is easily accessible from the multi-modal path.

Larry the Alligator, who lives in a pond at Brownwood, basks in the sun.
