Joyce Baker Rosenberg, 90 of The Villages, FL, passed away on February 13, 2016.

Joyce was born in Massena NY and lived in Massena for 42 years with her beloved husband, George, whom she was married to for 60 years.

After retirement they moved to Albany, NY where they enjoyed being close to family and spending time at their cottage on the Racquette River across from Higley Flow State Park near Potsdam, NY. After her husband passed away in 2003, Joyce spent most of her time in Florida with her children. Joyce was very active playing Mahjongg with her friends at all the Recreation Centers and also at home. She belonged to the Allamanda Alligators Shuffleboard Team which she played every Thursday in The Villages.

Joyce is a Member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Albany, NY and also attended St. George Episcopal Church in the Villages, FL.

Joyce is survived by her two Daughters, Gail Rosenberg Bolster (Ron), the Villages, FL, Georgia Rosenberg Barnack (Jim), The Villages, FL, three Grandsons, Kevin (Kathryn) Bolster of Syracuse,
Kyle Bolster of Victor, NY and James (Danielle) Barnack of Boston, MA. Joyce also had four Great Grandchildren, Annella, Isabella, Owen and Kaleb. She was predeceased by her sister, Laura and brother Ira.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at St. George Episcopal Church located at 1250 Paige Place in the Villages, FL. Following the Service there will be a reception for family and friends at SeaBreeze Recreation Center located at 2384 Buena Vista Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in memory of Joyce to St. George Episcopal Church in The Villages, FL, or to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Albany, NY.
