A judge has revoked the bond of a man who lives at the Quarters Apartments in Lady Lake, accused in March of stabbing his girlfriend with a kitchen knife.
At the time of his March 4 arrest, 31-year-old Randy Szymanski told police that he had stabbed her so that she knew it was “not OK” to call him names, the arrest report indicated.
He was charged with aggravated arrest with a deadly weapon. He was released from the Lake County Jail one day later after posting $10,000 bond. On March 9, he entered a plea of not guilty to the charge in Lake County Court.
On July 23, Judge William G. Law issued an order to revoke Szymanski’s bond following the filing of an arrest affidavit on July 17. Court records indicate that Synamski committed battery July 7 while free on bond.
He was taken into custody by Lake County sheriff’s deputies and booked early Friday morning at the jail where he is now being held without bond.
